We moved here in 1976 and town pizza was the first place we ordered from that first night. The most consistent, reasonably priced, solid menu you will find in these parts. I am partial to the Greek salad with grilled chicken, hot Italian grinder, and a basic pie.
They've survived all these years for a reason. Calzones are for 2.. feast for the eyes.
This is one of those local places we love and don't love . By that I mean they have dishes that are truly awesome and have full flavorful tastes. Then there are dishes that totally underwhelm. Normally if prices were that of years back I would be OK with a dish that underwhelms, but given price points today I find it unacceptable that I'm served a dish that is flavorless. I'd buy their pizzas and lasagna any day of the week, but their chicken parm is basically a slab of tasteless meat buried in melted cheese and covered in sauce as if to disguise its existence. You get the chewy sensation of the meat but absolutely zero taste. I was told they cater to elderly crowd so they don't season?? Absurd. I'm paying for a tasteful meal, not eating at the retirement home. So buyer beware. It may be trial and error to discover what's worth spending your hard earned money on, as it's not guaranteed every meal will be served so as to rock your taste Buds.
I really liked it, crispy and good cheese and sauce. Prices were reasonable, and unlike others I found the people to be friendly and personable. I'd go back.
Did take out: Large 1/2 cheese 1/2 pep, two Italian Grinders, order of wings. Everything was piping hot and delicious. Friendly staff. Go-to spot for pie in old Riverside. Family owned and run...
